Fairytail Extensions are premium horse tail extensions made from natural horse hair, designed to add length and volume while blending with your horse's own tail for a fuller, show-ready finish.
Whether you ride dressage, compete in showing classes or simply want a fuller tail for everyday turnout, a tail extension is one of the quickest ways to transform your horse's overall look. Thin, short or rubbed tails can take a long time to grow back. A Fairytail Extension gives you that length and fullness straight away.
A shade for every horse. The range covers Natural Black, Total Black, Chestnut, Light Chestnut, Flax Chestnut, Palomino, three Gray tones and Natural White, plus Max Volume for extra fullness and dedicated Pony and Forelock extensions.
Quick, easy fitting. Standard Fairytail Extensions weigh 450g. Our Braided Loop finish attaches to a braid made in your horse's own tail for fast, simple fitting, while Leather Top offers a structured alternative.

Three simple steps
How it attaches
Create your braid anchor
Brush the natural tail and separate the top hair to set the extension at the right height. Then plait a short braid as your anchor.
Attach and secure the extension
Insert the latch hook through the centre of the braid, catch the extension loop, close the latch and pull it straight through.
Blend and style the tail
Pass the braid tail through the extension loop to lock it in place, then release the top hair to blend for a seamless finish.

How to choose your shade
Compare your horse's tail in natural daylight and choose the closest tone, from Natural Black and Total Black to Chestnut, Palomino, Gray and Natural White. Many tails have several tones, so look at the lower part of the tail. Not sure? Send us a photo before ordering.
Black horse tail extensions
For black and dark bay horses, choose Natural Black for a soft, natural black or Total Black for a deep, even black. Need extra fullness? Explore Max Volume.
Braided Loop or Leather Top?
Standard Fairytail Extensions weigh 450g and come in two finishes. Braided Loop is our quickest and easiest option: it attaches to a braid made in your horse's own tail, for fast, simple fitting.
Prefer a structured finish? Leather Top gives a neat, tailored top.
Can I use it in competitions?
Contains no metal parts and suits disciplines that allow hair-to-hair extensions. Always check your federation's current rules.
