1. Overview
Welcome to Equine Tails. Throughout this website, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Equine Tails.
Equine Tails operates this online store and website, including all related information, content, features, products and services collectively referred to as the “Services”. Our store is hosted on Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform that enables us to offer and sell our products.
By accessing, browsing or purchasing from our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”), together with any additional policies referenced in them. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not access or use our Services.
2. Eligibility and Account Responsibility
By using our Services, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your country of residence or that you have obtained the consent of a parent or legal guardian where required.
When creating an account or placing an order, you agree to provide accurate, current and complete information, including your billing, shipping and contact details.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity carried out through it. Accounts may not be transferred, sold or shared with third parties.
3. Products and Availability
We make every reasonable effort to display our products accurately. However, colours, textures and appearance may vary depending on lighting, photography and individual screen settings.
Product descriptions, availability and pricing may be updated prospectively without notice. We may discontinue a product or limit its availability at our discretion. Changes made after an order has been accepted will not alter the terms of that accepted order.
4. Orders and Contract Formation
Placing an order through our website constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products. The automatic order confirmation email acknowledges receipt of your order but does not necessarily constitute legal acceptance of that offer.
An order is accepted once payment has been successfully processed and the goods have been dispatched, or when we have otherwise expressly confirmed acceptance.
We may refuse or cancel an order for legitimate reasons, including suspected fraud, pricing or technical errors, stock unavailability, delivery restrictions or incorrect customer information. If an order is cancelled after payment, the amount paid will be refunded.
Orders are intended for personal use and not for resale unless expressly agreed otherwise.
5. Prices, Taxes and Payments
Prices are displayed in the currency available for the customer’s selected market.
For orders delivered within the European Union, applicable VAT is included in the displayed price where required. For orders delivered outside the European Union, Greek or EU VAT is not charged where the applicable export exemption applies.
Destination-country import taxes and customs duties may be calculated and collected separately during checkout where supported. If these charges cannot be collected at checkout, the customer may be responsible for paying them directly to the relevant carrier or customs authority.
Shipping charges and any applicable taxes or duties are displayed before payment whenever they can be calculated by the checkout.
We accept payments through secure third-party payment providers. By submitting payment information, you confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.
6. Shipping and Delivery
Available shipping methods, charges and estimated delivery times are displayed during checkout and may vary depending on the destination, selected service and order value.
Delivery times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs authorities, public holidays, incorrect delivery information or events outside our reasonable control.
Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon delivery of the goods, in accordance with applicable consumer protection law.

7. Right of Withdrawal for EU Consumers
Consumers residing in the European Union generally have the right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without providing a reason, subject to the conditions and exceptions provided by applicable law.
You may exercise this right before the withdrawal period expires by completing our Right of Withdrawal form or by emailing us at info@equinetails.com.
Certain exceptions may apply, including to goods made or modified according to a customer’s specifications and sealed goods that are not suitable for return for genuine health-protection or hygiene reasons after the seal has been broken.

8. Returns and Refunds
Returns, exchanges and refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms or our Refund Policy limits any mandatory rights available to consumers under applicable law.
9. Intellectual Property
All content available on this website, including text, photographs, graphics, logos, designs, product descriptions and trademarks, is owned by or licensed to Equine Tails and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish or use our content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
10. Third-Party Tools and Links
Our Services may include tools, integrations or links provided by third parties. We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, security or privacy practices.
Your use of third-party services may also be subject to the terms and privacy policies of those third parties.
11. Shopify Platform
Our online store, product catalogue, checkout and payment processing are hosted through Shopify.
Shopify provides the technical e-commerce infrastructure, but all product sales are conducted directly between the customer and Equine Tails. Equine Tails remains responsible for its products, order fulfilment, customer service, returns and refunds.
12. Reviews, Feedback and Submissions
If you voluntarily submit a review, comment, suggestion, photograph or other feedback, you confirm that you have the right to provide it.
We may use submitted feedback for customer-service, operational or promotional purposes where permitted by applicable law and subject to any permissions requested at the time of submission.
You must not submit unlawful, misleading, abusive or infringing content.
13. Errors and Omissions
Website information may occasionally contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, availability, shipping or other details.
We may correct such errors and update the relevant information. If an error materially affects an order that has already been placed, we will contact the customer and provide an appropriate solution, including cancellation and refund where necessary.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Equine Tails shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of our website or Services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or any mandatory consumer rights relating to faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods.
15. Misuse of the Services
You agree not to misuse our website, attempt to interfere with its security or operation, use it for unlawful purposes, or infringe the rights of Equine Tails or any third party.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you may be responsible for loss caused by your intentional misuse of the Services or material breach of these Terms.
16. Governing Law and Consumer Rights
These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece.
If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of any mandatory protections available under the laws of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms limits any jurisdiction or dispute-resolution rights granted to consumers under applicable law.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our Services, business practices or legal obligations.
Any revised Terms will take effect when published on this website. Changes will not apply retroactively to orders already accepted unless required by law or expressly agreed with the customer.
18. Electronic Receipts and Invoices
Retail receipts are issued electronically and sent to the email address provided by the customer during checkout.
Invoices for business or wholesale purchases may be issued upon request and may require additional billing or company information.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate invoicing details when placing an order or requesting an invoice.
19. Email Communications
Transactional communications relating to orders, payments, shipping, customer accounts, returns or customer-support requests may be sent when necessary to provide the Services.
Marketing communications are sent only where the recipient has subscribed, otherwise provided valid consent, or where another lawful basis permits them. Creating a customer account does not by itself constitute consent to receive marketing emails.
We use Klaviyo to manage email marketing communications. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in those emails or by contacting info@equinetails.com.
Unsubscribing from marketing communications will not prevent necessary transactional or service-related emails.
